Child Protection
What is Child Evangelism Fellowship’s Child Protection Policy?
In today’s society, child abuse and child accusations are occurring daily. Therefore it is important that Child Evangelism Fellowship take steps to protect the children to whom we minister and protect our workers from false accusations.
The Board of Trustees for Child Evangelism Fellowship Inc. has adopted the following policy regarding child abuse and the protection of our children:
1. Background screenings for all workers both paid and volunteer. CEF of NH uses “Checkr” which does a background check on all workers in their state and county.
2. CEF has a application process that “Pre-screens” all workers. This process includes face-to-face interviews and a follow-up on reference checks.
3. All workers are trained by CEF to NEVER be alone with a child. We have a strict “2-adult” rule when working with all children. This rule ensures that a child is NEVER alone with an adult worker and is enforced by a “Zero Tolerance” rule if broken.
