Who We Are
Child Evangelism Fellowship® was founded by Jesse Irvin Overholtzer in 1937.

Child Evangelism Fellowship® of New Hampshire (CEFNH) is a Bible-centered organization established December 28th in 1950. CEFNH is composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. One of our goals is to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. Child Evangelism Fellowship of New Hampshire is a ministry of the “Word of God”; as such we recognize that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” All workers in CEF of NH must ascribe to and follow the word of God for all rule of faith and practice in their individual lives, in our corporate lives and in all dealings with the world.
Missionaries of CEFNH, whether paid staff or volunteer, are called to be “Evangelists”. In scripture, an evangelist is: a bringer of good tidings, Specifically, the name given to the NT heralds of salvation through Christ who are not apostles. It is important to understand this calling. Our equipping and empowerment is varied in spiritual gifting but united in calling – we are evangelists. Men and women whose sole purpose is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to children. The proclamation of the gospel requiring us (the evangelists) to be engaged in the “discipleship” of children thru three ministries: Good News Clubs (GNC), Five Day Clubs (5DC) and Camp Good News (CGN) summer camping ministry.
“Every Child, Every Nation, Every Day” is the CEF International vision for reaching children; last year over 19 million children observed a trained CEF worker give a gospel presentation. At CEF of NH, we will help fulfill that vision in its entirety with special emphasis given to reaching the children of NH. It is our goal to establish a gospel presence to all children in the 234 communities of New Hampshire. Presently we are impacting 34 communities, realizing smaller communities such as Dummer, Beans Grant, etc., are not likely candidates for clubs, but the surrounding townships that have a local Church will be enlisted to partner with us.
